DAMIEN O’REILLY

Born in Dublin and educated at Carmarthen School of Art in Wales  Damien O’Reilly is a Graphic Artist and illustrator living in County Wicklow, Ireland.

His illustrative technique is a result of an amalgamation of interests including old science drawings, info-graphics, retro Sci-Fi movie posters, and obscure diagrams.

His work has been featured in HESA Inprint (a Finnish art magazine based in Helsinki) ‘Thicker Than Water’ (An art zine created by New Yorks Blood Dumpster) and Designer Violence (A Design Magazine based in Cardiff, Wales).

Aside from a solo show ‘Is This Happiness?’ at InSpire Gallery his work has been exhibited as part of Dublins Design Week as well as other exhibitions including; WET (Hive Gallery Waterford), Talking Heads (2020 Gallery Cork) NLA IV (Moxie Studios, Dublin) Gentrify This (BioSpace Dublin) PEEP (Hive Gallery Waterford), and Derelict Dolls House (PRSC Bristol UK).

His most recent project B Movies was exhibited at Visual Carlow.
